Today we did a couple storm damage jobs after the high winds. This was a Bradford Pear that was topped 5 plus years ago. Due to topping the tree was extremely top heavy. The stress on the unions that are already weak plus the winds created the failure. Proper pruning practices will help this from happening to you.
